June 14, 2008 – Kiwanis Fishing Derby at North Ponds Park, 7:30 am – 10:00 am. Fishing Derby for kids ages 4 years and older with an adult. An early lunch and prizes will be provided by the Kiwanis Club of Webster. FREE
June 14, 2008 Community Wide Garage Sale to benefit the Webster Senior Center. Sale will be held 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at Webster Parks and Recreation. Sign up and pay $8.00 per spot to sell your old goods and treasures.
June 28, 2008 Webster's Summer Celebration at Webster Fireman’s Field from 4:00 – 10:00 pm. Musical entertainment, kids games, jumpy house, giant slide, chicken barbeque, hot dogs, pizza and other summer fare. Fireworks at 9:45 pm. Jazz great Nancy Kely will perform5:30 - 6:45 pm and the Skycoasters will play 7:45 – 9:45 pm. FREE
July 13, 2008, Webster Youth and Team Triathlon and Grand Splash at the Webster Aquatic Center. Swim, run, and bike event for kids 6 – 17 years old followed by open swim and water activities. New this year is a team triathlon for kids in same age category! Triathlon pre registration cost is $15.00 and $20.00 day of event.
September 20 and 21, 2008 Fall Harvest Festival and Community Camp Out (REMEMBERING THE 70's) at Kent Park, 1700 Schlegel Road. Camp out or just spend the day at the Arboretum at Kent Park. Music, games and crafts for kids, horse drawn carriage rides and more will delight the entire family. Event is FREE, fee for food and camping.
