Registration Information and Procedures
• REGISTER EARLY!! Most programs have limited and minimum enrollments. Also, REGISTER EARLY TO AVOID THE PROGRAM BEING CANCELLED DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT!.
• Programs with insufficient registration will be cancelled five (5) business days prior to the program starting date.
REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN ON January 7, 2010 for residents
and January 14, 2010for non-residents
• Webster residents may register beginning January 7. Non-residents may register for all programs beginning January 14. See definition of resident and non resident on next page.
• Under no circumstances will anyone be allowed to participate in any of the programs unless registered with the Webster Parks and Recreation Department and pays the appropriate fee. Registrations will not be taken by instructors.
• Incomplete registrations are subject to being returned to the sender.
• Phone Registrations WILL NOT be accepted.
Registration Procedures
• REGISTRATION DATES: Registration begins January 7 for Residents only. Non-Resident registration begins January 14. Please remember to register early to avoid the need to cancel classes that do not reach their minimum. All registration forms received prior to and on January 7 will be processed together on January 7for residents only. Non residents will be processed on January 14.NOTE: If you want to be in the same program with another person (residents only,) send the registration together in one envelope and make note of it on each form. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
• LOCATION: Registrations may be mailed to Webster Parks and Recreation Department at 985 Ebner Drive, Webster, NY 14580, OR dropped off in the green “drop box” located outside the main entrance of the Webster Community Center, 985 Ebner Drive.
• ONLINE REGISTRATION: Online registrations must be paid by credit card and be submitted no sooner than the dates listed above but no later than at least seven days prior to the start of the class/program.
• REGISTRATION FORM: Please read the directions THOROUGHLY so that all information requested is COMPLETE and ACCURATE. Errors will necessitate the return of your registration form, resulting in possible exclusion of the program. We also cannot process your registration form if the waiver clause is not signed. Corrected forms may be resubmitted; however, no program spaces will be held. Spaces are filled on a first come first served basis.
• Receipts/class confirmations will be mailed out on or about February 3, 2010 and after that no more than 5 business days upon receiving your registration.
Program Fees
• Checks or Money Orders are to be made payable to WPRD or Webster Parks and Recreation Department; except where otherwise noted in the program description. Programs are not pro-rated.
• Visa and MasterCard are accepted and encouraged for ease of payment and refunds.
• Cash is also accepted, exact amount only.
Non-Resident Fees
A NON-RESIDENT IS DEFINED AS ANYONE NOT PAYING WEBSTER TOWN TAXES. Non-residents are required to pay an additional $5.00 fee per program for all the programs that meet more than one time and/ or for all programs exceeding $15.00. Refer to the program’s course description as indicating “non resident fee does not apply.” Note: For residents living in the Webster Central School District registering for sports camps led by school district coaches, NO $5.00 out-of-town fee is required.
Insurance
The Town of Webster maintains a standard liability insurance policy that does not cover medical cost for anyone injured during the normal course of participation in any Recreation Department program or facility. ALL persons participate at their own risk.
