Arboretum Ecology Camp PLEASE NOTE CAMP DATE CHANGES
Become a Junior Naturalist as we conduct hands-on investigations of a fresh water pond, go on an ecology hunt, capture and identify insects, play a forest explore game, use a plant press, go on a bird walk, dig for decomposers, make a mini museum and sedimentator, print some weeds and see some very interesting live animals. Bring a snack or lunch, wear old sneakers and a hat. Participant costs are offset for this program due to the generous contributions of the Webster Arboretum Association and an Arboretum benefactor. Along with your registration for this program you will receive an honorary membership into the Arboretum Association for 2008!

Little Science Wizards Favorites Camp
A week long combination of the favorite programs we have ever offered. Make things like slime and bouncing balls, awesome experiments on weather and electricity, crazy physics using balloons, and your own rocket to launch. So much science, A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!

Solar Science Camp
Fun in the sun! You will build and test your own solar oven (different from last year) and your own solar car/robot. You will also learn to understand UV rays by using items such as solar beads, bouncing balls, UV reactive paint and more! See a 50-foot solar bag fly into the air! Bring your shade and sunscreen for this one.

Edible Experiments Camp
Back by popular demand! Have fun learning about the science behind food. Safety first, as you learn all about cleanliness required for handling food! Then, you will be working with and making awesome treats! Some items you will make are gummy candy, bubble gum, ice cream, butter, lollipops and much more. Understand the cool science surrounding spearmint lifesavers, Pop Rocks and more. For children ages 7 or those who have completed 1st grade and older. Parents must inform us of any food allergies and sign a permission slip for the children to taste their creations. Permission slips will be signed the first day of class.

Bowling Camp
Summer is the time for camps! Come experience our fun bowling camps, where children enjoy group instruction with certified coaches and make lasting new friends in organized age groups. Camp will be directed by Jack Williams, USBC silver shoes coach. Camp will include a T-shirt, morning snack, lunch, arts and crafts, and bike safety tips provided by the Webster Police Department.

Horseback Riding Camp
Spend a week of your summer vacation with a horse! Participants will get to learn about riding, training and horse care, including grooming, tacking, hand walking and feeding. CHILDREN NEED TO WEAR LONG PANTS AND NO OPEN TOED SHOES. Helmets will be provided. The location is at the Little Dude Ranch, 1652 Lake Road, Ontario. (Take 104 east, left onto Rt. 350, right onto Lake Road, Little Dude Ranch on your right). Please show up rain or shine.

Sports and Fitness Summer Camp
Come and join in some summer fun. Learn to play a variety of physically active games that will keep you in shape for the summer. For kids who have completed grades first through third. Summer Animation Camp
How would you like to see your drawing come to life? Dave Puls, B.F.A., creative director of Animatus Studios, will teach the art of animation during this camp. Young artists will create and design their own character, animate that character and see it come to life. Dave will videotape the animated characters and further bring them to life with narration and music. On Friday, August 22 there will be a video presentation of the student's work. PARENTS ARE WELCOME ON FRIDAY FOR THE LAST 15 MINUTES OF CLASS. What an opportunity to learn from an award-winning local and international artist! Classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. PLEASE BRING TWO #2 PENCILS AND AN ERASER TO EACH CLASS.
