Girlfriend's Yoga Red Tent and Lifepath Weekend
You need not go far to join other awesome women like yourself on a fantastic journey of discovery at Canandaigua Lake.  Red Tent is a metaphor for women coming together in community and truth. This retreat is an opportunity to get away from it all and to connect in a fun, athletic, spiritually moving way with women who will become your friends. Bring a friend or come alone. Either way you will be part of a fabulous group. The weekend includes: two nights accommodations at the Notre Dame Retreat House, 5151 Foster Road, Canandaigua; Friday night reception/party; five meals prepared by a culinary chef; and Yoga and Lifepath sessions. There will be time Saturday afternoon to explore Canandaigua, visit the Culinary Institute, shop the quaint stores in town, go for a hike, or simply relax and rejuvenate. Hatha Yoga Mini Session
This class is suitable for both beginners and people with yoga experience. It will take a gentle approach, using breathing techniques to move into relaxing stretches. Loose clothing is suggested. Although the floor is carpeted, you may want to bring a mat and pillow to class.

Having a Ball with Pilates Mini Session
We will be using traditional Pilates mat exercises with the added benefit of the fit ball. The ball enhances the process of finding support within our core, so we can move the body with more ease. This class will work on strengthening the upper and lower body along with the core muscles. Please bring a mat or firm blanket and water bottle.

Pilates Infused Yoga Mini Session
In this class we will incorporate the core strengthening of Pilates along with the many benefits of yoga. The focus on breathing, extension, balance and alignment is designed to strengthen and relax our body, as well as our mind. We will be using yoga and Pilates to find our inner support in a variety of movements. We will also increase our knowledge of how the body can move with more freedom and ease. Tai Chi from the Arthritis Foundation
Tai Chi is a slow, gentle form of exercise developed in China. This class uses Sun Style, which is specially suited to people with arthritis because it does not require deep knee bends or tip-toe movements as do other styles of Tai Chi. The program was developed by Dr. Paul Lam, a physician, and was adopted by the Arthritis Foundation.

Let's Not Call it Meditation
If you are curious about meditation and haven't tried it, join Padme Nina Livingstone for this informative and experiential two-hour class. Do you lose patience with people you love? Do you get upset when other people judge you? Do you believe you are responsible for other people's well-being? For centuries meditation has been used to relieve stress in every day life. Clear up your questions or confusion about how meditation can help you become the more patient, compassionate and honest person you yearn to be. Directly experience this loving and simple practice for yourself. Padme Livingstone is an awareness meditation teacher and author, who shares personal guidance and facilitates Polishing Presence Awareness Support Groups in the Rochester area. Her column, “Living with Awareness” has appeared monthly in national magazines for two years. Her book, Let's Not Call It Meditation: Practical Guidance for People Who Think They Can't Sit Still and Quiet the Mind will be available for sale after class along with her three guided meditation CDs.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
This is a fun, gentle exercise program developed by the Arthritis Foundation to assist people with arthritis in increasing their range-of-motion, flexibility, strength and endurance through specific exercises which can be done either sitting or standing.

Finding the Flow with Yoga and Kayaking
We will be practicing an outdoor flowing yoga class at the shore of Irondequoit Creek, on the grounds of Bay Creek Paddling Center. This class is suitable for all levels. The ability of yoga to connect us deeply to how the body moves, will allow us to move with greater ease. The deeper awareness we develop will help us to take in more of our surrounding environment as well. After a walk/short break, our yoga class will be followed by a paddle on the creek in rental kayaks. There we can observe the wildlife and plants that make this secret wilderness their home, as we continue to connect with body ease while paddling. Bring a mat, washable sheet or blanket to lay the mat on and a water bottle. The rental fee for the kayak is included in the program fee.

Adventure Calls Whitewater Rafting Trip
Guaranteed Class III Whitewater in warm weather makes it the optimal ride we offer. We will begin by gathering at Brown's Family Campground where there are clean rest rooms/changing areas, and we have the whole place to ourselves! We will ride the Salmon River, a controlled-release river, which means that water in a reservoir is allowed to flow into the river downstream, thus assuring you of a good trip. Relax and unwind after your rafting experience with a delicious meal, prepared especially for you by the staff of the Altmar Hotel. You will have your choice of Boneless Chicken Breast (register for 563a) or an 8 ounce Strip Steak (register for 563B). The fee includes transportation to and from Webster Community Center, meal and rafting adventure.  Please note return time is approximate.

Weight Loss and Wellness through Balanced Nutrition
Learn how to achieve balanced nutrition that leads to weight loss and overall wellness. We will talk about tools that are available to help you lose weight and maintain maximum vitality and wellness. This seminar will present the concept of "Cellular Nutrition" as described by the doctors and scientists from the Center for Human Nutrition at UCLA. Basic Adult Tap

Webster Fall Soccer League (W.F.S.L)
This is a highly competitive league for adult men who must have skill and physical readiness. This league will run for 10 weeks and each game will be an hour and a half. There will be no games on Sunday, August 31. Instead, there will be games held on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, August 26 and 27. The registration deadline is July 28! Jerseys will not be provided. Captains will be in charge of purchasing their own jerseys. Non-resident fee does not apply.

"It's just too good to be true!" Broadway's biggest success story and the winner of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Sunset Sail on Wild Hearts Catamaran
Enjoy the sunset reflecting on the evening waters of Lake Ontario as you sail on the 53-foot catamaran Wild Hearts out of the Port of Rochester in Charlotte. Our licensed captain and crew are there to provide for your safety and comfort. We will meet at the port at 6:45 PM. The two-hour sail departs at 7:00 PM. Seating is available on our upper deck or in the lower covered salon area. Purchase a tropical drink from our onboard bar and enjoy light snacks while listening to music provided by satellite radio. Two restrooms are on board for your convenience. With a beam of 30 feet, Wild Hearts offers a stable sailing platform with plenty of room to move about freely. She is licensed to hold 49 passengers. Life vests are onboard but not required to be worn. Relax at the end of the day with warm breezes, cool water and a beautiful sunset onboard Wild Hearts. Transportation is not provided; meet at the boat at the Fast Ferry Port in Charlotte. Take advantage of Webster Parks and Recreation Department’s discounted ticket price of $30.00 per person.
