Drums Alive for Wellness

This is a mind/body program that integrates movement and music therapy.  This class gives participants a means of direct expression through the beating of the drum (fitness ball) with drum sticks.  It helps to improve motor skills as it facilitates a way to release stress and “work out”.  Instinctively, everyone knows how to drum and there is no right or wrong way.  We will explore how we can use drumming to connect our mind and body, as we strengthen it.  The body movements combined with drumming help us to be present and energized as we have fun.
