Wrap Around Camp

Listed below is general camp information. The site will be updated January 5, 2010 with specific information for summer 2010.

Wrap Around Camp provides a safe, fun, and active program for children who have completed Kindergarten - 3rd grade. Children are put into groups within their grade level and rotate through a variety of age appropriate indoor and outdoor activities. Campers travel one day per week to enjoy miniature golfing, bowling, Seabreeze and more. Special guests, entertainment and theme days make for a summer camp that kids look forward to coming to. Camp staff is comprised of school teachers and college and high school students. Breakfast and snacks are provided daily. Session A is for the full 8 weeks, Session B is for any 7 weeks, and Session C is for any 6 weeks. Camp weeks must be decided by parent meeting held in mid June. Campers need to bring a lunch and water bottle each day. There is a $50.00 deposit required at registration. An information packet will be available at Webster Parks and Recreation May 11 and online at our website under “Summer Programs.” There will be a parent meeting in mid June, the date will be sent with your receipt. Once camp begins, payments are accepted on a weekly basis. There is no prorating for camp. There is a 5% fee reduction per family for 2 or more campers registered for any wrap around camp (K – 3, 4 – 5 and 6 – 7 Wrap Camps). , Non resident fee does not apply.

 

4th - 5th Grade Wrap Around Camp

Wrap Around Camp will provide a safe, fun and active program for children enrolled in our summer Fun Camps. If childcare prevented your kids from enjoying the fun of summer camp at Webster Parks and Recreation, here is the solution! All campers will be dropped off and picked up from the Webster Community Center. When the traditional 4th – 5th Fun Camp begins at Spry campers will take a school bus to and from Spry to participate in that camp. The camp travels to exciting destinations such as Minnehan’s, Roseland Water Park, New York State Parks, Empire Lanes, Adventure Landing, the movies, and Seabreeze. Each group has a leader and the staff to child ratio is 1 to 8. Breakfast and snacks are provided daily. Wrap Around Camp for 6th - 7th graders

This is the place to be this summer.  Join your friends who have completed 6th or 7th grade and head to the hottest spots around town. Participants will start their day at the Webster Parks and Recreation Center and join in on the 6th - 8th grade trips.  Campers will visit Minnehan's, Sea breeze, NY State Parks, go bowling to the movies and more. If the trip day ends before parent pick up time, our staff will provide activities, a snack and supervision until 6:00 pm.  Participants need to bring their own lunch or lunch money each camp day.  Breakfast and snack are also provided.   Camp is held Monday - Thursday.  Registration information and pricing will be highlighted in the summer program guide which will be online May 1.
