Listed below are traditional summer day camps offered by Webster Parks and Recreation. The site will be updated in May 2010 with specific information.

Webster Parks and Recreation offers a variety of summer day camps and sports camps. Specific information will be available in the May issue of the Webster Town Times and online May 1. The following information is general and subject to change.

Preschool Camp is for children ages 3 - 5 years old who are not yet in Kindergarten and toilet trained. Camps are held at the Webster Community Center and run 6 weeks, 2 days a week for 2 hours. Activities include arts and crafts, stories, games, theme days, water days and guest artists. trip will be included for the 4-5 year old session. The staff to child ratio is 1 staff to 5 children. PRe SChool Camp will be held at Klem South Elementary School.

K - 3 Fun Camps Children who have completed kindergarten thru grade 3 are eligible. Camps consist of two - 3 week sessions. Camp meets Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Activities include arts and crafts, outdoor games, theme days, guest artists, and trips. The staff to child ratio is 1 staff to 8 children. K - 3 Fun Camps will be held at Klem North, State Road and Plank North Elementary Schools.

4 - 5 Grade Fun Camp This camp is for youth who have completed 4th and 5th grade. Camp is held for 5 weeks and is in session Monday - Thursday from 9:15 am - 2:45 pm. Camp consists of outdoor activities, theme days, cooperative challenges, and trips. Trips typically include swimming at the Webster Aquatic Center, bowling, miniature golfing, Red Wing game, go cart racing, Seabreeze and more. The staff ratio is 1 child per 9 campers. Camp will be held at Willink Middle School.

6 - 8 Camp is a local travel camp for youth that have completed grades 6th - 8th. Camp is offered in four- 2 week sessions. Camp is held 2 days a week and hours vary. Campers meet at the Webster Community Center and travel to places such as Minnehan’s, Adventure Landing, Seabreeze, the Webster Aquatic Center, and state parks. They also go bowling, roller skating, rock climbing, miniature golfing and to other places of interest. Staff include Webster teachers and faculty and the staff to child ratio is 1 to 10. Drop off will be at teh Webster Recreation Center, 1350 Chiyoda Drive.

Also available is a Wrap Around Camp for kids K - 5 . This camp operates for 8 weeks from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. Activities include trips, arts and crafts, theme days, quiet time, movies, outdoor activities and more. The staff is consistent, caring and supervised by full time school teachers. Site TBD.

New for the Summer of 2009 will be a Wrap Around Camp for 6 - 7 graders that coincides with the 6 - 8 Trip Camp. Before and after care will begin at 7:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm. Camp will run Mondays - Thursdays. Information and registration will be in the May program guide to be released online on May 1 and delivered to Town of Webster residents the first week of May. The department also offers a variety of sports camps for youth and teen. Camps include basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and more. Information will be available in the May Town Times issue.
