“Webster Parks and Recreation Youth Volunteer Team”
There are several opportunities for youth volunteers to be involved whether it is helping at our summer fun camps, summer celebration, fall festival, art camps, sport camps, and various children and family events throughout the year. Youth volunteers
must be at least 13 years old for our regular programs and 14 years of age by June 1st to be a summer fun camp volunteer.
Our youth volunteer program enables teens to come together and get involved in serving their communities. Youth volunteers will have the opportunity to have fun while learning leadership skills, team building skills, and have the opportunity to work with other Webster Parks and Recreation staff in carrying out recreational programs.
If you are interested in applying as a youth volunteer, please complete the youth volunteer application below and set aside , Thursday, May 27 for the Youth Volunteer Meeting. The MANDATORY meeting will take place from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at Liberty Lodge at Finn Park. Counselor in Training applicants must also take part in an interview process.
Volunteer opportunities are limited and filled on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions, please have your Youth Volunteer contact Kelly directly at 872-7103. Kelly is in the office 5:00 am - 9:00 am so she is available before school to talk.
